Akky Akimoto is the co-founder and chief editor of Asiajin, an English blog on Japanese web industry. He works part time for Cybozu Labs as an in-house pro blogger, by which he received an Alphablogger award, given to Japanese A-list bloggers in 2006.

He writes in 140 characters at Twitter, clips internet memes to Tumblr and answers the occasional question on Quora. He also loves Japanese manga and records his reading on his own service Yonda4.

As a software engineer and project management mentor, he has lived and worked in England, San Francisco, Viet Nam and Taiwan. He now enjoys his nursing two kids in Tokyo.

His other recent works are guest lectures on web business at the University of Tokyo department of economics, and monthly IT column on The Japan Times
